ABSTRAK
PENGARUH STRUKTUR ORGANISASI DAN KEPUASAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI (Studi Kausal Pada Pegawai Direktorat Jenderal Pemasyarakatan). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan pengaruh langsung struktur organisasi dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai di lembaga pemasyarakatan Cipinang. Penelitian dilakukan di Direktorat Jenderal Fisiologi pada tahun 2016 dengan menggunakan metode survei dengan analisis jalur yang digunakan dalam pengujian hipotesis dan 100 sampel yang dipilih secara simple random sampling. Temuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) ada pengaruh langsung struktur organisasi terhadap kinerja; 2) ada pengaruh langsung kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja; 3) ada pengaruh langsung struktur organisasi kepuasan jab; 4) terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung struktur organisasi terhadap kinerja melalui kepuasan kerja. Berdasarkan temuan ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa setiap perubahan atau variasi yang terjadi pada kinerja mungkin secara langsung dipengaruhi oleh kepuasan kerja, dan juga secara tidak langsung berpengaruh signifikan terhadap struktur organisasi. Oleh karena itu, bila kita ingin memperkecil variasi yang terjadi dalam kinerja, faktor-faktor seperti kepuasan kerja dan struktur organisasi perlu diperhitungkan.
ABSTRACT
EFFECT OF ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE AND WORK SATISFACTION OF EMPLOYEES PERFORMANCE (Causal Studies In Employees of the Directorate General of Penitentiary) The objectives of the research is to obtain the direct effect of organizational structure and job satisfaction on the performance of correction officers at Cipinang correctional institution. The study was conducted at Directorat Genderal Correctional in 2016 by using a survey method with path analysis applied in testing hypothesis and 100 samples selected by simple random sampling. The finding of the research are: 1) there is a direct effect of organizational structure on performance; 2) there is a direct effect of job satisfaction on performance; 3) there is a direct effect of organizational structure on jab satisfaction; 4) there is an indirect effect of organizational structure on performance through job satisfaction. Based on these findings, it could be concluded that any changing or variation occurred at performance might have been directly significant effected by job satisfaction, and also indirectly significant effected by organizational structure. Therefore, when we want to minimize the variation which occurred in performance, these factors such as job satisfaction and organizational structure are necessary to be taken into account.
