Pemberdayaan Remaja Melalui Pengenalan dan Pencegahan Kekerasan Seksual Berbasis Elektronik

Abstract

The development of technology and the increasing use of social media among adolescents brings various benefits, but also gives rise to new risks, one of which is Electronic-Based Sexual Violence (ESV). A lack of understanding of digital security makes adolescents vulnerable to various forms of violence that occur through electronic media. This community service activity was carried out at SMK LETRIS INDONESIA 2 with the aim of increasing students' understanding and awareness in recognizing and preventing ESV through the Smart Clicks Safe Body program. The activity was carried out through socialization, material delivery, discussions, and question and answer sessions that discussed the forms of ESV, their impact on victims, the importance of maintaining digital privacy, and legal protection for victims of ESV. The results of the activity showed that students began to understand the various forms of ESV that often occur on social media, such as online sexual harassment, the distribution of personal photos without permission, cyber grooming, and the threat of the distribution of personal content. In addition, participants also demonstrated active involvement during the activity through discussions and asking questions. This activity provided students with an understanding of the importance of maintaining digital security and increased the courage to take appropriate steps when faced with actions that lead to ESV. Through this activity, it is hoped that students will be able to use social media more wisely and create a safe digital environment.
