SAFE SPACE”: MEWUJUDKAN LINGKUNGAN YANG RESPONSIF TERHADAP PENANGANAN KEKERASAN SEKSUAL
Abstract
Sexual violence in educational environments, including schools, is a
serious threat that hinders the creation of safe and comfortable learning spaces.
Group 2 The Faculty of Law, Pamulang University, carries out Community
Service (PKM) activities with the aim of building and realizing a school
environment that is responsive to preventing and handling sexual violence. The
partner in this activity is SMK Letris 2 Indonesia, which involves teachers,
education staff, school committees and student representatives. The methods
used in this PKM include interactive socialization methods for legal education, as
well as case handling simulations. The legal material presented focuses on the
implementation of creating a safe and comfortable environment from acts of
sexual violence. The results of this activity showed an increase in participants'
legal understanding regarding forms of sexual violence and legal sanctions. It
was concluded that the synergy between strong legal understanding and the
availability of internal school policy instruments is very effective in creating an
educational ecosystem that is responsive and protective against the threat of
sexual violence.
