PELATIHAN MEMBUAT VIDEO INTERAKTIF MENGGUNAKAN POWERPOINT DAN PEN TABLET SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI PONDOK PESANTREN DARUL MU’MININ KABUPATEN LEBAK
TRAINING IN MAKING INTERACTIVE VIDEOS USING POWERPOINT AND PEN TABLETS AS MATHEMATICS LEARNING MEDIA AT DARUL MU'MININ ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL, LEBAK DISTRICT
Abstrak
Mathematics is a subject whose field of study is abstract. It requires logical thinking skills, so that in delivering the material a media is needed so that students can more easily understand the material presented and stimulate students to improve their logical thinking skills. One of the learning media in accordance with current developments is the use of PowerPoint assisted by a pen tablet. The existence of a pen tablet helps educators deliver learning materials using videos. This community service activity was carried out at the Darul Mu'minin Islamic Boarding School with the aim of improving teachers' knowledge and skills in teaching mathematics.. Mathematics teachers at the Darul Mu'minin Islamic Boarding School will gain knowledge and skills in using PowerPoint and pen tablets to create interactive videos as a medium for learning mathematics. The service's target is educators in mathematics or exact sciences at the Darul Mu'minin Islamic Boarding School. The problem is solved in three activity stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Preparation is carried out by conducting a preliminary survey to see the conditions in the field regarding the difficulties experienced by students in learning mathematics. The implementation is carried out using lecture and demonstration techniques by the facilitator, followed by direct practice in making teaching materials using PowerPoint and pen tablets, then recorded so that it can be used as a learning media to share with students at the Darul Mu'minin Islamic Boarding School. The evaluation stages carried out were by checking the practices carried out by participants with instructions given by the facilitator. The results of the activities through observations during the community service process and continued with interviews with three educators regarding the training process for making learning media using PowerPoint and pen tablets, including (1) educators were very enthusiastic about participating in the training process using PowerPoint and pen tablets because educators gained new knowledge related to the use of PowerPoint and pen tablets as mathematics learning media; (2) improving the skills of educators at the Darul Mu'minin Islamic Boarding School in using PowerPoint and Pen Tablet learning media; and (3) increasing the creativity of educators in making interactive learning videos so that students can access them.
