Manfaat Teknologi Internet of Things (IOT) di Masa Pandemi Covid-19
Abstract
Teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) telah membuktikan kegunaannya dalam menghadapi masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi manfaat utama yang ditawarkan oleh IoT dalam mengatasi pandemi ini. Dalam penelitian ini, kami mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber primer dan sekunder yang berkaitan dengan implementasi IoT selama pandemi COVID-19. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa IoT dapat memberikan beberapa manfaat yang signifikan dalam berbagai aspek penanganan pandemi. IoT dapat digunakan dalam pemantauan kesehatan individu secara real-time. Melalui perangkat yang terhubung ke jaringan IoT, suhu tubuh, detak jantung, dan parameter kesehatan lainnya dapat dipantau dengan akurat. Hal ini memungkinkan deteksi dini gejala COVID-19 dan tindakan cepat untuk mencegah penyebaran virus. IoT dapat mengurangi kontak fisik langsung antara orang- orang. Misalnya, dengan menggunakan sistem pintu otomatis atau sensor gerak, manusia dapat menghindari menyentuh permukaan yang sering disentuh oleh banyak orang, sehingga mengurangi risiko penularan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi IoT selama pandemi COVID-19 memiliki manfaat yang signifikan dalam memantau kesehatan, mengurangi kontak fisik, menjaga jarak sosial, mengelola infrastruktur kesehatan, pelacakan dan trasabilitas, meningkatkan kebersihan, dan mendukung pendidikan jarak jauh
