Analysis of the Development of the Education System in the Society 5.0 Era on Students at Air Marshal Suryadarma University
Abstract
The Society 5.0 era signifies fundamental changes in social and economic dynamics, significantly influencing the higher education system. This research aims to analyze the development of the education system in the Society 5.0 era and its impact on students at Air Marshal Suryadarma University. With a paradigm shift towards digitization and the integration of technology into all aspects of life, understanding how students respond to and adapt to these changes becomes crucial. This study employs a qualitative method, utilizing a literature review approach from previous research. In-depth analysis of scholarly literature and findings from prior research is conducted to comprehend the impact of Society 5.0 on students and the changes implemented by higher education institutions, particularly Air Marshal Suryadarma University. Through the literature review, it is found that Society 5.0 significantly propels the transformation of higher education. Students are confronted with the demand to develop new skills, especially those related to technology and creativity. Air Marshal Suryadarma University is observed to proactively respond to these changes by adjusting its curriculum, strengthening industry collaboration, and providing extra support for students facing new challenges.
