Model Pembinaan Kecerdasan Interpersonal dan Intrapersonal Santri melalui Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Islam di Pesantren Fajar Dunia Bogor

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) are Islamic educational institutions that serve not only as centers of religious instruction but also as places for character formation and strengthening the emotional intelligence of students. In the modern context, social, cultural, and psychological challenges are increasingly complex, requiring Islamic boarding schools to develop development models capable of fostering interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence as part of emotional competence. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to design and implement a model for fostering interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence through Islamic extracurricular activities at the Fajar Dunia Islamic Boarding School in Bogor. The implementation method includes needs analysis, training and capacity building, development of development modules, implementation of extracurricular activities, and ongoing mentoring and evaluation. The results of the activities demonstrated significant improvements in students' communication skills, empathy, self-awareness, and emotional control. Supervisors and teachers gained theoretical and practical understanding of emotional development based on Islamic spirituality. The development model proved relevant, applicable, and can serve as a reference for other Islamic boarding schools. This research emphasizes the importance of integrating Islamic values, emotional intelligence theory, and experiential learning methods in holistically fostering student character.
