  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • Following template manuscript provided by Jurnal Informatika Universitas PamulangThe text is single-spaced; uses a 11-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

Jurnal Informatika Universitas Pamulang is a peer-reviewed journal that focuses on  computer science and information system. Jurnal Informatika Universitas Pamulang publishes four times a year since 2016. The articles should be original, unpublished and not under reviewed for possible publication in any other journals. All submitted manuscripts will be blindly-reviewed by qualified academics in the field. This process may take several weeks or months.

Articles should be written in English or Indonesian must not exceed 12 pages including text, all tables and figures, notes, references, and appendices. All contributors must follow the template manuscript provided by Jurnal Informatika Universitas Pamulang (JIUP). Which can be accessed on the Journal's website. Manuscript must be submitted via the website: http://openjournal.unpam.ac.id/index.php/informatika.

Submitted manuscripts should have relevance and contribute something to knowledge in computer science or information system. The manuscripts should include: 200 words of Abstracts (in English), Introduction

Please also add at the end of the introduction, a statement that this manuscript is the original result of your research or the development of previous research using your own ideas. Articles that you submit will be thoroughly checked with plagiarism checker software (Turnitin). If the results of the examination are more than 20%, then we reserve the right to reject articles from the author.

Research Methodology

The methods described in this section are scientific in nature and should allow readers to repeat your experiments. Please provide sufficient detail so that the results of the study can be reproduced. Published methods should be indicated with appropriate references in the Bibliography section. Where relevant modifications exist, these should also be explained.

Result and Discussion

Research findings should be presented in a clear and concise manner. The results should provide a summary of the scientific findings rather than presenting highly specific data. Clarify the differences between your findings and those of prior studies by other researchers. The discussion should focus on the significance of your work. Include citations from previous studies that can support the outcomes of your research.

Conclusion

The closing section should be presented as a concluding paragraph that addresses the research objectives and explains how your work contributes to advancing current knowledge. Without clear conclusions, reviewers and readers will find it challenging to assess the value of the work and determine whether it is suitable for publication in a journal. Avoid repeating the results already outlined in the abstract or merely summarizing the experimental findings. Instead, offer a clear scientific justification for your work, highlighting potential applications and areas for further development. Additionally, suggest future research directions or mention ongoing research efforts that build upon your findings.

References

References must be written using the IEEE format [1], with a minimum requirement of 15–20 citations [2] primarily sourced from scientific journals or research articles published within the last 5 years. It is mandatory to use a reference management tool such as Zotero (https://www.zotero.org) or Mendeley (https://www.mendeley.com/downloads) for all citations and the bibliography. Citations should be numbered sequentially using brackets [3], with punctuation placed immediately after the closing bracket. Generally, refer to citations solely by their number (e.g., [4]); the word 'Reference' should only be written out if it appears at the start of a sentence. Footnotes are treated separately using superscripts and should appear at the bottom of the respective column, not in the reference list (use letters for table footnotes). Regarding authorship, list all names unless there are six or more; do not use "et al." for fewer authors. Papers pending publication should be marked as "unpublished" [5], while those accepted are "in press" [6]. For paper titles, use sentence-case capitalization [7]. Finally, for translated journals, provide the English citation before the original foreign version [8]. Below are examples of reference formatting. References should be set in 10-pt Times New Roman with single line spacing.
