Abstract

ABSTRAK

PERANCANGAN APLIKASI PENJUALAN THRIFTING BERBASIS WEBSITE MENGGUNAKAN METODE AGILE (STUDI KASUS: STRIDECAT SUPPLY). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang aplikasi penjualan produk thrifting berbasis website dengan menggunakan metode Agile, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas proses penjualan, serta memperluas jangkauan pasar Stridecat Supply. Sistem yang dirancang akan memungkinkan pelanggan untuk dengan mudah melihat katalog produk, melakukan pemesanan, serta mendapatkan informasi terkini mengenai stok barang secara real-time tanpa perlu menghubungi penjual melalui media sosial atau aplikasi pesan. Metode Agile dipilih karena fleksibilitasnya dalam mengakomodasi perubahan yang cepat sesuai dengan tren fashion yang dinamis. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk memahami kebutuhan pengguna, serta metode analisis tematik dalam pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi praktis bagi pengelola bisnis thrifting dalam meningkatkan pengelolaan transaksi, mempercepat layanan, serta meminimalkan kesalahan pencatatan stok dan transaksi. Dengan menggunakan platform website berbasis Agile, Stridecat Supply dapat lebih profesional dan kompetitif dalam menghadapi tantangan pasar digital saat ini.

ABSTRACT

DESIGN OF A WEBSITE-BASED THRIFTING SALES APPLICATION USING THE AGILE METHOD (CASE STUDY: STRIDECAT SUPPLY). This study aims to design a web-based thrift store sales application using the Agile method, which is expected to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process, as well as expand the market reach of Stridecat Supply. The system to be designed will allow customers to easily view product catalogs, place orders, and get up-to-date information on stock availability in real-time without needing to contact the seller via social media or messaging apps. The Agile method is chosen due to its flexibility in accommodating rapid changes in line with dynamic fashion trends. This research uses a qualitative approach to understand user needs, with thematic analysis in data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The expected outcome of this research is to provide practical solutions for thrift store business managers to improve transaction management, accelerate service, and minimize errors in stock and transaction recording. By utilizing an Agile-based web platform, Stridecat Supply can become more professional and competitive in facing current digital market challenges.
