PENYULUHAN HUKUM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN PELECEHAN SEKSUAL DI KALANGAN REMAJA

Abstract

The community service activity carried out by students of the Law Study Program, Faculty of Law, University of Pamulang, with the theme "Legal Counseling for Efforts to Prevent Sexual Harassment among Adolescents" is a strategic step in building legal awareness in society, especially among teenagers. The problem of sexual harassment, which is increasingly rampant, is a major concern, considering the psychological and social impact it has on us. The purpose of this activity is to provide adolescents with a deep understanding of the importance of sexual harassment prevention efforts and the legal steps that can be taken if such a case occurs. The methods employed in this counseling, including lectures, group discussions, and case simulations, are designed to foster an interactive learning environment and encourage active participation from participants. This approach not only provides information theoretically but also builds practical skills in dealing with real-life situations. The results of this activity showed that there was an increase in adolescents' understanding of the issue of sexual harassment and its prevention measures, as well as strengthening their awareness of the importance of protecting themselves and others. In addition, this activity also contributes to building a safer and more supportive environment for adolescents while strengthening the role of society in creating a culture that rejects all forms of sexual harassment. Thus, this counseling is expected to be an effective model in increasing legal awareness and preventing sexual harassment in the community.
