Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

AUTHOR'S GUIDE

JOURNAL JENIUS (Jurnal Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia)

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  1. The article font type uses Times New Roman.

  2. The article is written on A4 size paper with the top edge margin being 4cm, the left edge margin being 4cm, the right edge margin being 3cm, and the bottom edge being 3cm.

  3. Publishing articles are never published or given to other media.

  4. In the article, there should be consecutive page numbers.

  5. The writing style of the article must be consistent / unchanged.

  6. References Writing must be in sync between being quoted in the content of the article and noted in the References.

  7. All authors must be specified.

  8. Articles should not exceed 20 pages.

  9. The identity of the contact person must be complete, correct, and clear (including address, telephone number, and email).

  10. The focus and scope of publishing articles should include study results in conceptual ideas, applied studies, and theories, literature reviews, reviews of new books, and writing practices in the field of Management.

  11. Articles sent in soft copy using Microsoft Word.

  12. Articles must be submitted at least 1 month prior to publication for each issue.

  13. Articles must be in English and must include an abstract in Indonesian

 

ARTICLE WRITING STANDARDS

Article Title

  1. The title is written with Times New Roman 14 cpi and 1 (one) space.

  2. Title in bold.

  3. The author must write his full name in the article (not a nickname) and it should not be abbreviated.

  4. The author's name must be followed by the name of the author's institution

 Abstract

  1. Abstract written with Times New Roman 11 cpi and 1 (one) space.

  2. Abstract should not be more than 200 words.

  3. The abstract must contain a brief description of the objectives, methods, research results, conclusions, and suggestions.

  4. Keywords are written in one space under Abstract.

  5. Keywords can include at least 3 words and no more than 5 words

Content

  1. Article content is typed with Times New Roman 12 cpi and 1.5 (one and a half) spaces.

  2. The article is written in the form of an essay, accompanied by a section title (heading) from each section, except for the introductory section which is presented without a title. The title of the rating section must be bold and not numbered.

  • Rank 1 (all uppercase and align to the left)
  • Rank 2 (capitalize each word and align to the left)
  • Rank 3 (Sentence letters and align to the left)

Conceptual articles are presented systematically as follows: (a) title, (b) identity of the author without an academic degree, (c) abstract, (d) keywords, (e) introduction (Untitled section) which contains the background and purpose or space the scope of the article and (f) a list of references.
  3. The results of quantitative research are presented systematically as follows: (a) title, (b) author's name, without academic degree, (c) abstract, (d) keywords, (e) introduction (Untitled section) contains a discussion of the literature and research objectives, (f) method, (g) results, (h) discussion, (i) conclusions and suggestions, and (j) list of references.
  4. Qualitative research results: presented systematically as follows: (a) title, (b) author's name, without academic degree, (c) abstract, (d) keywords, (e) introduction (Untitled section) contains discussion literature and objectives research, (f) methods, (g) results and discussion, (h) conclusions and suggestions, and (i) list of referencesi.
  5. 4. Citing other people's opinions must be accompanied by the name of the author cited and the year.

1 (one) author: Wilber (2000)
2 (two) authors: Weston and Copeland (2002)
More than 2 (two) authors: Moh'd, et al. (2001)
5. Images (charts, sketches, photos, and histograms) in the article must be accompanied by the source image, serial number of the image, and the name/title of the image. The serial number of the image and the name/title of the image are written at the bottom after the image. The text on the image is written with a font size of 10.

 

REFERENSI

1. References are presented following the procedure as shown below and sorted alphabetically and chronologically.
2. References only contain references in the article.
3. References are written in Hanging form.
4. Write references from books.

6. Write references from the institute's website.

7. Write references from the Journal.
Author's Last Name, Author's First Name can be abbreviated. Year. Title in Journal article. Journal Name, Volume, Number, Page. Publisher City: Publisher Name.

8. Write references that are more than one to five people in the same book.
The First Author's Last Name, the First Author's First Name and can be abbreviated., The 2nd Author's Name is written as the original or not reversed and can be abbreviated., And the 3rd Author's Name is written as the original / not reversed and can be abbreviated. Year. Book title. Publisher City: Publisher Name.

16. Write a bibliography on the process.
