The Influence of Profitability and Liquidity on Debt Policy in StateOwned Construction Companies for the Period 2014 – 2023
Abstract
This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of profitability and iquidity on debt policy in state-owned construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2014-2023. The sampling technique uses saturated samples so that four companies are obtained according to the predetermined population criteria. This study uses secondary data from the financial statements of state-owned construction companies. The data analysis technique used in this study is panel data regression. The results of the hypothesis test (t-test) show that profitability has a significant effect on debt policy. liquidity does not have a significant effect on debt policy. profitability and liquidity simultaneously have a significant effect on debt policy.
