Information For Librarians

Institution Information

Open access publication is a means for researchers to be compliant with their funders’ mandates. JPP Open Access Prepaid Account (JOAPA) allows institutions to support their faculty to publish research open access.

We are offering institutions the option to set up a prepaid account specifically to cover the cost of open access Article Processing Charges (APCs). An institution’s authors can access the funds in the account by providing JPP with the Open Access Prepaid Account code when the APC payment is due.

To discuss opening an Open Access Prepaid Account with JPP for your institution and find out more about available discounts, please contact pub_jpp@unpam.ac.id.

Open Access License Information

JPP open access articles are released under one of six Creative Commons licenses currently available. Though open access articles are free to access, the Creative Commons license assigned to the article will stipulate under what circumstances article content can be copied, adapted, displayed, distributed, republished or otherwise re-used. Individual license information for each article is provided on the article webpage and PDF cover page.

Re-use of Open Access Content

All licenses require that re-use complies with the following terms:

Full attribution must accompany any re-use and include the following information about the original work:
Author(s)
Article Title
Journal
DOI
Volume (if applicable)
Issue (if applicable)
Page numbers (if applicable)
Date of publication
JPP as the original publisher
A link to the original article as published on SAGE Journals (where practicable)

Creative Commons license terms for re-use do not apply to any content (such as graphs, figures, photos, excerpts, etc.) not original to the Open Access article and further permission may be required from the rights holder. The obligation to research and clear permission lies solely with the party re-using the material.
Re-use of a work must not imply or otherwise suggest sponsorship or endorsement by JPP, the author(s), journal, society or other third party.
Creative Commons licenses do not negate the moral rights of authors, including but not limited to the right to attribution and the right that a work not be subjected to derogatory treatment that threatens the honour or reputation of the author(s).

JPP strongly recommends users notify the original authors(s) of their intention to distribute, adapt, translate or republish Open Access content.
