Plagiarism Policy

KOMMAS: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat is committed to maintaining the quality and integrity of its publications by preventing plagiarism. Plagiarism is a serious violation that can undermine the trust of readers and damage the reputation of both the authors and the journal. Therefore, we have strict policies in place to ensure that all published work is original and does not infringe upon the copyrights of others.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism refers to the use of someone else’s ideas, words, or work without proper credit. This includes:

  • Using parts or the entirety of someone else’s work without permission or attribution.
  • Repeating or copying work that has been previously published elsewhere.
  • Using information or data from another’s research without giving appropriate credit.

Plagiarism Check Process

  • Each manuscript submitted will be checked using internationally accepted plagiarism detection software to ensure no parts are detected as plagiarized.
  • Authors involved in plagiarism will have the opportunity to clarify their work.
  • If plagiarism is proven, the manuscript will be rejected for publication, and the author will be banned from publishing work in KOMMAS: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat in the future.
