Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed the educational sector, including English language learning at the junior high school level. However, many students still use technology primarily for entertainment rather than educational purposes. This community service activity aimed to improve students' digital literacy through technology-based English learning. The methods employed included socialization, training sessions, hands-on practice, and evaluation. The program was conducted over three days involving 40 junior high school students. The materials covered educational applications, responsible digital technology use, reliable online learning resources, and technology-assisted practices for reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. The results showed a 35% increase in students' digital literacy understanding, a 42% improvement in educational application usage skills, and a 38% increase in motivation toward learning English. These findings demonstrate that integrating technology into English language learning effectively enhances both digital literacy and language competencies among junior high school students.
