WORKSHOP PEMANFAATAN GOOGLE WEB UNTUK KEBUTUHAN PUBLIKASI KEGIATAN KEAGAMAAN DI MUSHOLA AL FURQON PERUMAHAN GRIYA CENDEKIA

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has encouraged digital transformation in various aspects of society, including the management of religious activities within local communities. However, the utilization of digital technology for the publication and documentation of religious activities remains limited, including at Al Furqon Prayer Hall (Mushola Al Furqon) in Griya Cendekia Housing Complex. Various religious activities organized by the management and the Youth Organization of the prayer hall have not been systematically documented or published, resulting in limited dissemination of information to the wider community. This Community Service Program (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat/PKM) aims to enhance digital literacy and provide practical skills in utilizing Google Workspace services, particularly Google Sites, as a medium for publishing religious activities. The program will be implemented through socialization sessions, lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training in website development using Google Sites, supported by the use of Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Forms. The target participants include the Prayer Hall Management Board, Youth Organization members, congregants, and the surrounding community. The expected outcomes of this program are improved knowledge and skills in utilizing digital technology for administrative, documentation, and publication purposes, as well as the establishment of a sustainable digital publication platform managed by the Youth Organization. Furthermore, this program is expected to strengthen the role of young people in supporting the prosperity of the prayer hall and improve the dissemination of religious activity information to the community in a broader and more effective manner.
