Pengaruh Training Development dan Career Development terhadap Employee Performance: Peran Mediasi Organizational Commitment

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung training development dan career development terhadap employee performance dengan organizational commitment sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tipe explanatory research. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh pegawai Dinas Perdagangan, Koperasi, dan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah Kabupaten Demak sebanyak 166 pegawai. Sampel berjumlah 117 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan 5% dan teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert lima poin dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) dengan bantuan SmartPLS 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa training development dan career development berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee performance. Selain itu, organizational commitment juga berpengaruh positif terhadap employee performance serta memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara training development dan career development terhadap employee performance. Pengaruh training development lebih dominan secara langsung terhadap kinerja, sedangkan career development lebih kuat melalui peningkatan organizational commitment. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya optimalisasi program pelatihan yang relevan dan pengembangan karier yang berkelanjutan guna meningkatkan komitmen serta kinerja pegawai.
