Water Pollution is a change in the condition of water reservoirs such as lakes, rivers, oceans, and groundwater caused by human activities. Water pollution occurs in water sources like lakes, rivers, oceans, and groundwater due to human actions. In Indonesia, water pollution is one of the urgent environmental issues that need to be addressed. All parties have a responsibility to reduce water pollution in more than 10,000 villages and urban areas across Indonesia. Dishwashing wastewater (greywater) is one of the significant types of waste produced in households. If this wastewater is discharged directly into drainage channels without prior treatment, it can turn rivers brown, produce foul odors, kill aquatic life, and release pollutants that can become sources of diseases such as cholera, dysentery, and others. Given this background, it is crucial to conduct education on domestic waste, particularly dishwashing wastewater. The primary goal of this activity is to raise awareness and understanding of domestic or household waste to minimize its harmful impacts. This community service activity consists of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage involves visiting the activity location, followed by the implementation stage, where faculty members deliver materials and hold discussions with participants. Lastly, the evaluation stage is conducted. The outcomes show that all participants responded positively and appreciated this community service activity (PkM) as it enhanced their knowledge about waste, the environment, and methods for prevention and management.
