Abstract

The Community Service Program, conducted in the even semester of 2024-2025, took place at the Al Asyriyah Nurul Iman Foundation in Parung District, Bogor Regency, West Java. As students at Islamic boarding schools, students play a crucial role as part of the younger generation, who will become agents of change and successors to the nation's development. It is deemed necessary to possess insight and knowledge, particularly entrepreneurial skills, and the ability to create processed products from abundantly available materials in their environment, for sustainable community empowerment efforts, thus producing cadres with strong educational and economic strength. Thus, the potential of students as alumni of Islamic boarding schools has long been recognized as a means of community empowerment and serves as a basis for coordinating community learning programs. Students after completing their learning assignments will be more effective and efficient if parties with similar programs for community empowerment can provide optimal training. This is the reason for the Community Service (PKM) activity carried out by Lecturers of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Pamulang University, by providing Training on Making Catfish Floss, considering the raw materials are easily obtained, the manufacturing process is easy, and the nutritional content is very good, suitable as an additional family menu. During this PKM activity, the enthusiasm of the participants was seen to be very positive with their involvement both in the discussion session and during the production process. This is possible considering the theme is quite interesting because it can be an additional skill or cooking skill, especially for mothers who are daily activities in the household. Practical PKM activities are requested to be programmed in the next PKM activities and are sustainable. Beneficial activities like this can involve many other institutions, including the District Government and Departments or Agencies within the Bogor Regency Government.
