PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENERIMAAN PESERTA DIDIK BARU (PPDB) DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE USER CENTERED DESIGN PADA RAUDHATUL ATHFAL SABILA. Proses Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) di RA Sabila sebelumnya masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga membutuhkan waktu lebih lama, meningkatkan risiko kesalahan pencatatan, serta menyulitkan proses pelaporan. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem informasi PPDB berbasis web dengan menggunakan metode User Centered Design (UCD) agar sistem yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Tahapan UCD yang digunakan meliputi Understanding and Specifying the Context of Use, Specifying User Requirements, Producing Design Solutions, dan Evaluating the Design. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, serta kuesioner terbuka, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik untuk menemukan kebutuhan utama pengguna. Hasil perancangan menghasilkan sistem PPDB dengan fitur pendaftaran siswa, pengelolaan pembayaran, serta pelaporan terintegrasi. Pengujian menggunakan Blackbox Testing menunjukkan sistem berjalan sesuai fungsinya, sedangkan uji System Usability Scale (SUS) memperoleh nilai rata-rata yang menunjukkan kategori acceptable. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, meminimalkan kesalahan, serta memberikan pengalaman pengguna yang lebih baik bagi sekolah dan calon orang tua siswa.

DESIGN OF A NEW STUDENT ADMISSION (PPDB) INFORMATION SYSTEM USING THE USER-CENTERED DESIGN METHOD AT RAUDHATUL ATHFAL SABILA. The New Student Admission (PPDB) process at RA Sabila was previously carried out manually, which required more time, increased the risk of recording errors, and complicated reporting. This study aims to design a web-based PPDB information system using the User-Centered Design (UCD) method to ensure that the system meets user needs. The UCD stages applied include Understanding and Specifying the Context of Use, Specifying User Requirements, Producing Design Solutions, and Evaluating the Design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and open-ended questionnaires, then analyzed thematically to identify key user requirements. The design results produced a PPDB system with features for student registration, payment management, and integrated reporting. Blackbox testing confirmed that the system functions properly, while the System Usability Scale (SUS) test showed an average score categorized as acceptable. The system is expected to improve efficiency, minimize errors, and enhance user experience for both the school and prospective parents.
