FINAL REPORT SCIENTIFIC WRITING TRAINING AT SMKN 8 KOTA SERANG

Abstract

This PKM article presents a training program designed to introduce and equip students and teachers at MA Al-Khairiyah Pipitan with the skills to use LaTeX for preparing scientific articles, reports, and presentations in a more structured and professional manner. LaTeX, as a markup-based writing system, allows users to focus on content without being burdened by formatting concerns. The training covers the fundamentals of LaTeX, document structuring, insertion of images, tables, and mathematical formulas, as well as presentation creation using Beamer. Furthermore, participants will learn reference management with BibTeX and how to address common errors in LaTeX. They will also be provided with access to various resources and templates to facilitate the application of their acquired knowledge. Mastery of LaTeX is expected to enhance participants' academic writing and presentation quality while equipping them with relevant skills to meet future academic and professional challenges.
