The Community Service Program (PKM) conducted by Universitas Pamulang aims to train 12th-grade students of SMKN 8 Kota Serang in writing their final academic reports. This program is implemented to address the challenges students face in composing their Practical Work (PKL) reports, which are a crucial requirement for graduation. Observations indicate that 38% of students still struggle with understanding and writing their final reports. Common difficulties include a lack of comprehension of scientific writing principles, structure, and proper language usage. This PKM employs a qualitative method that emphasizes the meaning and process of an activity’s outcome. It also utilizes an interactive approach, combining theoretical explanations with hands-on practice. Activities include lectures on the fundamentals of academic writing, discussions, and group exercises facilitated by lecturers and students from Universitas Pamulang. After attending the training, results showed a significant improvement in students' ability to systematically and accurately compose reports. The number of students in the "excellent" category increased to 30%, while those in the "poor" category decreased to only 10%. The training also fostered critical thinking skills and systematic writing abilities while enhancing students’ enthusiasm for learning. Beyond skill development, this program strengthens collaboration between the university and SMKN 8 Kota Serang and serves as a foundation for future initiatives. This program can serve as a model for other schools to enhance vocational students' competencies in academic writing, ensuring they are better prepared for both academic and professional demands.
