Abstract

ABSTRAK

PERANCANGAN SISTEM KEHADIRAN SISWA BERBASIS WEBSITE DENGAN QR CODE MENGGUNAKAN METODE RAPID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (RAD) DI SMK AL AMANAH. Pengelolaan kehadiran siswa di SMK Al Amanah masih dilakukan secara manual melalui pemanggilan nama atau lembar absensi, sehingga pencatatan dan rekapitulasi membutuhkan waktu serta berpotensi menimbulkan kesalahan dan keterlambatan informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem kendali kehadiran siswa berbasis website dengan QR-Code untuk mendukung presensi per mata pelajaran, pengelolaan data terpusat, serta pengawasan kehadiran. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, studi literatur, dan dokumentasi. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) dengan tahapan perencanaan, analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, dan implementasi. Sistem dibangun menggunakan PHP Native dengan pola MVC dan basis data MySQL. Hasil implementasi mencakup login multi-peran, pembukaan sesi absensi berdasarkan jadwal, pemindaian QR-Code oleh guru, absensi manual, pengajuan izin/sakit, koreksi absensi, laporan, riwayat kehadiran, serta notifikasi WhatsApp kepada orang tua. Perancangan basis data menghasilkan ERD dengan 16 entitas dan 24 relasi. Pengujian Black Box mencakup 36 test case dan 174 skenario uji, dengan seluruh skenario dinyatakan valid. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kebutuhan fungsional yang dirumuskan dan menyediakan pengelolaan kehadiran yang lebih terintegrasi.

ABSTRACT

DESIGN OF A WEB-BASED STUDENT ATTENDANCE SYSTEM USING QR CODE WITH THE RAPID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT METHOD (RAD) AT SMK AL AMANAH. Student attendance management at SMK Al Amanah is still conducted manually through name calling or attendance sheets, requiring considerable time for recording and recapitulation and potentially causing errors and delays in information. This study aims to design and implement a web-based student attendance control system using QR Code to support attendance by subject, centralized data management, and attendance monitoring. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, observations, literature studies, and documentation. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method through the stages of planning, requirements analysis, design, and implementation. The system was built using native PHP with an MVC pattern and MySQL database. The implementation includes multi-role login, attendance session management based on schedules, QR Code scanning by teachers, manual attendance, permission/sick leave requests, attendance correction, reporting, attendance history, and WhatsApp notifications to parents. The database design resulted in an ERD consisting of 16 entities and 24 relationships. Black Box testing covered 36 test cases and 174 test scenarios, with all scenarios declared valid. These results indicate that the developed system has met the defined functional requirements and provides more integrated attendance management.
