PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENERIMAAN PESERTA DIDIK BARU (PPDB) ONLINE BERBASIS WEB MENGGUNAKAN METODE AGILE PADA SMP ARIF RAHMAN HAKIM Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong berbagai institusi pendidikan untuk bertransformasi dari sistem manual ke sistem berbasis digital. SMP Arif Rahman Hakim masih menggunakan sistem manual dalam proses Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB), sehingga menimbulkan kendala seperti keterlambatan pengolahan data, kesalahan pencatatan, serta keterbatasan dalam penyampaian informasi kepada calon peserta didik dan orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi PPDB online berbasis web yang dapat mempercepat proses pendaftaran, meningkatkan keakuratan seleksi, serta mempermudah pihak sekolah dalam pengelolaan data dan penyampaian informasi. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Agile, karena bersifat fleksibel dan mampu menyesuaikan kebutuhan pengguna secara bertahap selama proses pengembangan. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian berupa sistem informasi PPDB berbasis web yang mendukung proses registrasi, pengelolaan data pendaftar, validasi berkas, seleksi calon siswa, pembayaran, hingga pembuatan laporan secara otomatis. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi dalam proses penerimaan siswa baru, meminimalisir kesalahan, serta memberikan kemudahan akses informasi bagi calon peserta didik dan pihak sekolah.

ABSTRACT

DESIGN OF A WEB-BASED ONLINE NEW STUDENT ADMISSION (PPDB) INFORMATION SYSTEM USING THE AGILE METHOD AT ARIF RAHMAN HAKIM JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL The development of information technology has encouraged various educational institutions to transform from manual systems to digital-based systems. Arif Rahman Hakim Junior High School still uses a manual system in the New Student Admission (PPDB) process, which causes obstacles such as delays in data processing, recording errors, and limitations in conveying information to prospective students and parents. This study aims to design and build a web-based online PPDB system that can speed up the registration process, improve selection accuracy, and facilitate schools in data management and information disclosure. The development method used is Agile, because it is flexible and able to adjust user needs gradually during the development process. Research data were obtained through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of the study are a web-based PPDB information system that supports the registration process, applicant data management, file validation, prospective student selection, payments, and automatic report generation. This system is expected to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the new student admission process, minimize errors, and provide easy access to information for prospective students and schools.
